Creating a bright future for Vermont families

WHAT IS THE…

Vermont Parent Child Center NETWORK?

VPCCN provides collaborative leadership, advocacy, and support to the state’s 15 Parent Child Centers to achieve the best outcomes for Vermont’s children and families.

Vermont’s Parent Child Centers are community-based, welcoming hubs that provide a range of services and programs to support families.

Working together as a Network, Parent Child Centers are partners in Vermont’s systems of care for pregnant and parenting families with children under age six to ensure that children thrive in safe, stable, and nurturing environments and parents have the support, information and resources that are critical to helping children thrive and improving outcomes.

VERMONT PARENT CHILD CENTER NETWORK serves ALL of Vermont with a shared vision, philosophy, and purpose through the delivery of our eight Parent Child Center Core Services:

  • Parent Education
  • Family Support
  • Home Visits
  • Early Childhood Services
  • Concrete Family Supports
  • Play Groups
  • Community Development
  • Information & Referral
By working together as a professional Network comprised of leaders from each Center, standards of quality are maintained, innovations are shared, and collective impact is amplified.

Vail-Stowe Mountain Resort supports family center through grant

For the seventh year in a row, Vail-Stowe Mountain Resort and the Stowe Giving Council have awarded Lamoille Family Center with an Epic Promise Grant for $10,000.

Like last year, the donation went to the Concrete Supports Outreach program which aims to meet the basic needs of babies, children, youth and their caregivers in Lamoille Valley.

The outreach program is open to any households in the Lamoille Valley with children living in the home. With the help of Epic Promise funding, LFC has been able to provide more grocery and gas cards than in the past, assist with utility bills and meet urgent needs that fall outside the scope of the larger state-funded outreach program.
